We started the experience with three varied and tasty bruschettas. Next, and I dare say, it was the best pizza I’ve had in Lisbon. The (thick) crust is simply amazing. It takes you straight to Italy. The cappelli ai Funghi Porcini e Tartufo Nero was equally spectacular. But we were truly impressed by the quality of the pizzas!! To finish, we followed the house recommendation (friendly and very attentive service) and tried the “Falso Cannoli” with pistachio and Nutella cream, which I must admit was a delightful surprise. Mano a Mano goes to the top of my list of Italian restaurants. We’ll be back... and soon!

Everything went perfectly from the table reservation process, which was done 100% online, including the confirmation, to our arrival at the restaurant. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I found the food impeccable, and the portions served in the Brunch menu were very generous. Highlights include the Cornetto (Italian croissant) and the Burrata. The Nutella and pistachio pizza was a pleasant surprise! We will definitely be back to try the pizzas, pastas, and house cocktails.

Cold days call for comfort food, and is there anything more comforting than Portuguese or Italian cuisine? No, I know there isn’t, and that’s why today I’m writing about Pizzeria Mano a Mano, an Italian restaurant in Lisbon that has a new menu and a new Executive Chef, Giovanni Pellegrino. A young talent bringing to Lisbon a beautiful innovation: pizzas with a pistachio cream base and typical Sicilian desserts.
